Hengstenberg is one of the older, towering names in Evangelical Christianity, perhaps best known for Christology of the Old Testament. Hengstenberg’s books are cited hundreds of times in works such as Pulpit Commentary and Keil & Delitzsch’s Commentary on the OT.
