Ministerial Requirement Not Covetous
is a short article about why ministers of God are not to be covetous, or interested so much in the things of this world. Their interest in riches and power contaminates whatever good that can possibly do for God. theologicalsystems.com/false-prophet-teacher/ministerial-requirement-not-covetous

Life

The son of Henry Jowett of Leeds, Joseph Jowett was educated in Leeds before being admitted to Trinity College, Cambridge in 1769. He moved to Trinity Hall in 1773, becoming a Fellow there that year and a Tutor in 1775. He was Rector of Wethersfield, Essex from 1795 until his death in 1813.[2] It is here at St. Mary Magdalene Church that he oversaw the vicarage to which Patrick Brontë had his first curacy.[3]

He was known as "Little Jowett." He originated the Cambridge Chimes of Great St Mary’s Church,[2] from which the chimes of Big Ben were adapted. -- wikipedia.org

In this class, Treasury of Scripture Knowledge we show you what is and how to use TSK, Treasury of Scripture Knowledge. This work is simply a commentary of all the verses in the Bible where the author has gone through hundreds if not thousands of English study Bibles, and he has added whatever Bible references each of those Bibles had on that particular verse. As a pastor making sermons, this excellent reference tool within theWord can help you generate a very excellent sermon in a minimum of time and effort. This will leave you with a lot of extra time to pursue illustrations, commentary explanations, making structure and outline of the sermon, etc. It is a God send for preachers, really! Pastor David Cox
