I would put forth my own personal views here on Anglicanism. In general, I consider an Anglican as a “warmed-over Catholic.” By that, Anglicans came out of Catholicism, but not as the Reformation. There are some very good and strong arguments against Catholicism within Anglican works, but at the same time, they continued with Mary’s worship, priesthood, mass, etc. So in general, they are the same as Catholics. On the other hand, some of these Anglican commentaries are excellent in the exposition of the text. Catholic commentaries seek to insert Catholicism in every text it would seem and thus are more useless. Anglican commentaries can be a blessing. You must be careful sometimes as they do have incorrect views.
